Gov. David A. Paterson has ordered that flags across the state be flown at half-staff Wednesday in honor of a 10th Mountain Division soldier and New York native who died in Iraq last week.

Pfc. Patrick A. May, 22, Jamestown, died Tuesday of non-combat-related injuries in Baghdad. Pfc. May was a member of the Division Special Troops Battalion and had been in Iraq since May.

His death is still under investigation.
