Assembly GOP candidate announces jobs plan today

Robert W. Cantwell III, Republican candidate for the 118th Assembly District seat, will announce his new jobs plan at 10:30 a.m. today at Timeless Frames Inc., 22419 Fisher Road, town of Watertown.

Mr. Cantwell's plan, according to a press release, "consists of several initiatives, including creating a fuel cooperative for farmers, capping property taxes, enhancing cross-border partnerships with Canada, workforce retraining, and giving tax incentives to lure companies and manufacturers to establish headquarters in the north country."

The 118th Assembly race also includes Democrat Addie J. Russell, Theresa, and independent Donald J. Lucas, Massena.
