Dr. & Mrs. R. Harryman -- 30 years

Dr. and Mrs. Robert Harryman, 17100 Dry Hill Road, celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary with a trip to Bar Harbor, Maine.

Dr. Harryman, son of Frances M. Harryman, Charlottesville, Va., and the late Dr. William K. Harryman, and Margaret Wade, daughter of the late Carolus and Dorothy Wade, were married June 3, 1978, in Williamstown, Mass.

Dr. and Mrs. Harryman both graduated from Williams College, Williamstown, Mass.

Dr. Harryman graduated from University of Virginia Medical School, Charlottesville. He has worked in emergency rooms at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam, at Samaritan Medical Center, for 17 years, and at Lewis County General Hospital, Lowville.

Mrs. Harryman is a teacher and started home-schooling their children in 1984. She enjoys pottery, horses, gardening and Bible study and is writing a book.

They are both very involved with Parkside Bible Church and with medical missions to the Dominican Republic.

The couple has three daughters, Amanda Auerbach, Elizabeth Gonzalo and Gabrielle Harryman, and three sons, Isaac, Nathan and Samuel, all of Watertown. The couple also has three grandchildren.
