CASTORLAND — Mr. and Mrs. David Zehr, 6846 Old State Road, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Aug. 2 at the Croghan Fire Hall.

Mr. Zehr, son of the late Alvin R. and Vera Moser Zehr, married Mary Schrock, daughter of Lydia Plank Schrock, Arthur, Ill., and the late Chris M. Schrock, on Aug. 2, 1968, at the Arthur (Ill.) Mennonite Church with the Rev. Paul Zehr officiating.

They have a daughter and a son-in-law, Lisa and Harry Durant, Syracuse; a son and a daughter-in-law, Jason and Amy Zehr, Mitchell, S.D., and two grandchildren.
