DEXTER — State Sen. Darrel J. Aubertine, D-Cape Vincent, will present a $30,000 check to village officials at a 2 p.m. ceremony Wednesday in Dutch Grant Park.

The village will use the Department of State funds to create a flow management plan and perform remedial investigations required by the state Department of Environmental Conservation.

Completing those will allow the village to proceed with the 28-parcel Dexter Acres housing project on County Route 53. It also will prepare the village for a proposed expansion at Hunter's Run.
