FORT DRUM — Members of the 10th Aviation Brigade, 3rd Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment will begin coming back from their deployment to Iraq this weekend. Parts of the unit are expected to return to Fort Drum over the weekend after a 15-month deployment.

Their deployment was lengthened from 12 months after only a month into their tour as the Army began the troop surge in the spring of 2007.
