A funeral Mass for Mary Angelica Prior, 10, 401 Mullin St., will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Church with the Rev. Mark R. Reilly, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Evans Mills, officiating.

Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.

Mary died Tuesday in the emergency room at Samaritan Medical Center after being stricken at her home. Cause of death is pending results of an autopsy.

Calling hours will be from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hart & Bruce Funeral Home.

Born Aug. 15, 1997, in Syracuse, she was a daughter of Bruce M. and Tammy S. Greenwood Prior. Her mother died June 25, 2001. Her father, Bruce, is employed in plumbing and heating at Omega QSE, Fort Drum. Her stepmother, Sue, is a local pharmacist.

Mary just finished the fifth grade at Immaculate Heart Central Intermediate School. She enjoyed playing with her friends, watching television, playing with her nieces, nephews and baby sister, her baby dolls, "High School Musical," "Hannah Montana," the color purple and butterflies.

Surviving besides her father and stepmother are five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Cassandra S. and Michael P. Myers, DePew, Tracy N. and Morris A. Klock, Amanda L. and Michael S. Olley and Whitney C. Prior, and her fiancé, Jeffrey Bur, all of Watertown, and Abigail G. Prior, at home; five brothers, Michael T., Matthew E., Christopher P., Jacob J., and Stephen T. Prior, all at home; her paternal grandparents, Noah and Shirley Prior, Watertown; her paternal great-grandmother, Wealtha Prior, Mercy of Northern New York; her paternal great-grandfather, Bruce Getman, Philadelphia; her maternal stepgrandparents, Lorne and Virginia Greenwood, South Carolina; maternal grandmother, Susan Greenwood, and her longtime companion, James LaDuke, Evans Mills; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to the Mary Angelica Prior Scholarship Fund set up at the Watertown Savings Bank, Main Branch, 111 Clinton St., Watertown, N.Y. 13601, the Spina Bifida Association, University Hospital, Syracuse, N.Y. 13210, or the Children's Miracle Network, care of Samaritan Medical Center.
