Donald C. Lipsey, 69, Deland, Fla., formerly of Watertown, was pronounced dead June 20 at Florida Hospital, Deland, of injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident on West Beresford Avenue, Deland.

He retired in 2000 from New York Air Brake Co., where he was employed for 31 years.

Born April 5, 1939, in the Bronx, he was the son of George and Margaret Lenki Lipsey.

He married Rosemary Pierce on Oct. 6, 1967. She died March 24, 1991.

Mr. Lipsey enjoyed ocean and lake fishing and hunting.

Surviving is his companion, Brenda Granger, Deland.

A memorial service will be held in Hontoon Island State Park, Florida. The body was cremated at Four Corners Cremation, Orange City, Fla.
