A memorial service for Linda A. Bresette, 57, of 159 Mullin St., will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at TLC Funeral Home. Burial will be private. She died Sunday at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, of complications of cirrhosis.

There will be no calling hours.

She was residence manager for Jefferson Rehabilitation Center for 18 years, working until her health started failing in April.

Born Aug. 14, 1950, in Paterson, N.J., daughter of Lloyd and Alice Terrell Nickerson, she graduated from Keeseville High School and attended classes at Jefferson Community College for human resources. She married Jerry Bresette on Oct. 21, 1972, at Keeseville United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed crafts, reading and shopping.

Surviving besides her husband are a son and his wife, Dale and Heather, Watertown; a daughter, Dawn Bresette, and her fiancé Kirk Goutremout, Watertown; a brother, August Nickerson, Radcliff, Ky.; a sister, Candice L. Magie, Rainbow City, Ala.; four grandchildren, a niece, three nephews and several cousins.

The family requests no flowers. Donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
