BARNES CORNERS — Mitchell "John" Sliwa III, 41, Seven by Nine Road, died Friday evening in a motor vehicle accident.

Mr. Mitchell was self-employed and owned MJS Contracting, Watertown, for 20 years.

Born March 25, 1967, in Syracuse, son of Mitchell J. Jr. and Rose Frazzitta Sliwa, he graduated from General Brown High School and attended classes at SUNY Canton to be an electrician.

Mr. Mitchell enjoyed camping and socializing.

Surviving besides his parents are a sister, Julie Sliwa, Oswego, and a niece.

A sister, Lynne Marie Sliwa, died before him.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Episcopal Church, Watertown, with the Rev. Walter Giles officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at TLC Funeral Home, Watertown.
