AMSTERDAM — The Watertown Wizards' road struggles continued Friday night.
Unable to hold an early 4-0 lead, the Wizards fell 10-9 to the Amsterdam Mohawks in a New York Collegiate Baseball League East Division game. Watertown fell to 4-11 on the season and is now 0-7 away from the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.
Jordan Kreke had three hits and drove in two runs for Watertown, which banged out 13 hits. Malone's Derek Marshall contributed two hits and three RBIs, Jake Gorman and Greg Herbst added two hits apiece, and Curtis Lazar notched a two-run double.
Bryce Nugent led Amsterdam (12-5) with two hits and three RBIs.
