Stanley H. Todd

OGDENSBURG — Stanley H. Todd, 94, formerly of County Route 10, DePeyster, died Thursday morning at St. Joseph's Home.

Mr. Todd worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps, farmed in the DePeyster area for a while and later became a milk and cattle hauler. He also worked for St. Lawrence County.

He later was a whey processor in Heuvelton and a watchman for Stony Brook Hunting Club, of which he was a life member.

Born May 13, 1914, in DePeyster, he was a son of William and Carrie Baker Todd.

He married Keitha Seeley, who died Feb. 14, 1937.

He married Catherine "Kate" Ingram on June 15, 1939, in DePeyster. She died May 16, 1981.

Mr. Todd enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and bowling and was a past member of the International Order of Odd Fellows.

Surviving are a son and his wife, David and Ceil, Brandon, Vt.; two daughters and their husbands, Carol and Charles Loucks and Nancy and Wayne Levac, all of DePeyster, 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

A son, Keith, died in 1999. Two infant sons, a sister and six brothers also died before him.

The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Frary Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry R. LaValley officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Heuvelton.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
