Helen J. Johnson, 86, formerly of 266 Mullin St., Watertown, died Tuesday morning at Samaritan Keep Home, where she had resided for eight years.

Miss Johnson was an office clerk for Prudential Life Insurance Co. in New Jersey. She moved to Watertown in 1955 and worked for MacDonald-Jones Inc. general insurance company for several years, retiring to take care of her father.

She was born Oct. 7, 1921, in Perth Amboy, N.J., daughter of Andrew and Amelia Vogel Johnson.

Surviving is a nephew, David Johnson, Watertown.

A brother, George Johnson, and a sister, Marion Kelley, died before her.

A graveside service in Brookside Cemetery will be at the family's convenience.
