MADRID — Wyatt Evan Mitchell Caskinett, 3, Brady Road, died Monday at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Potsdam, of complications of recent surgery associated with a birth defect.

Wyatt was born Dec. 9, 2004, in Ogdensburg, son of Lois Caskinett and Louis Mandigo.

He enjoyed watching movies, eating chocolate, four-wheeling, horses, cars, toys and his sunglasses, cell phone and Mr. Potato Head. He was an organ donor.

Surviving besides his parents, of Madrid, are three sisters, Jacequelyn Caskinett, Crissy Mandigo and Justice Mandigo, all at home; a brother, Brian Mandigo, Gouverneur; his maternal grandmother, Ethel Caskinett, Madrid; his paternal grandmother, Maria Mandigo, Gouverneur, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

His maternal grandfather, Edmund Caskinett, his paternal grandfather, William Mandigo, and an uncle died before him.

The funeral is tentatively set for 10 a.m. Friday at Phillips Memorial Home, Madrid. Burial will be in Madrid Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House. Condolences may be sent at www.phillipsmemorial
