Amanda Hope Schichler, Pulaski, and Gregory Paul Pratt, Lacona, announce their engagement.

Miss Schichler, daughter and stepdaughter of Phyliss and Stuart Schenk, Ellisburg, and Christopher and Sharon Schichler, Rochester, graduated from Belleville Henderson Central School, Belleville, in 2003. She is a licensed hairdresser at Dye and Curl Up Salon, Pulaski.

Mr. Pratt, son of Paul and Jill Pratt, Redfield, graduated from Sandy Creek Central School in 1999 and from Jefferson Community College in 2001. He is network administrator at Biospherix Ltd., Lacona.

An August wedding is planned.
