Denise Ablan, Glenfield, and Jeffrey Guignard, Lowville, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine M. Guignard, to Jason C. Reimers, Potsdam.

Miss Guignard graduated in 2006 from Lowville Academy and Central School and is a student at Clarkson University, Potsdam, majoring in biology.

Mr. Reimers, son of Doreen and Charles Reimers, Saugerties, graduated in 2005 from Saugerties High School. He is a student at Clarkson University, majoring in computer engineering, and is an associate analyst for New York Independent System Operator, Rensselaer.

A June 19, 2009, wedding is planned.
