POTSDAM — Potsdam's Monique Cornett hit a two-out double in the bottom of the eighth inning to score Alysha Brown and win a Northern Athletic Conference Central Division softball game over Norwood-Norfolk 12-11 Thursday.
The Sandstoners tied the game in the bottom of the seventh when Alycia Matott drove in Cornett on a fielders choice. Brown had two RBIs for Potsdam (5-8 overall, 3-7 division).
Jess Harvey had three hits, while Kara Holmes supplied a triple and three RBIs for the Flyers (6-9, 3-6).
GOUVERNEUR 10, TUPPER LAKE 7
Jenna Weaver smacked four hits and pitched a complete-game Central Division win for the Wildcats in Gouverneur.
Weaver had two RBIs, while Danni Easton hit two singles and a double for Gouverneur (4-7, 4-6).
Kelsey Hamilton and Liz Tvorak each hit a double for Tupper Lake (0-11).
HAMMOND 16, CLIFTON-FINE 1
Danielle Green highlighted a five-run third inning with a two-run home run to help lead the Red Devils to a West Division triumph in Hammond.
Jessica Measheaw struck out 12 batters in six innings to earn the win for Hammond (9-2).
Elizabeth Meek hit a triple to lead the offense for Clifton-Fine (0-10).
ST. LAWRENCE 10,
MADRID-WADDINGTON 3
Ashley Thayer tossed a two-hit gem to defeated East Division foe Madrid-Waddington in Brasher Falls.
Thayer struck out nine batters and contributed two hits at the plate and one RBI. Shelby McGraw knocked in two runs and also scored a pair for the Larries (14-1, 11-0).
The loss drops the Yellow Jackets to 7-8, 4-7.

COLTON-PIERREPONT 2
The Bulldogs scored 14 runs in the top of the second inning and blew away the Colts in an East Division game in Colton.
Amber Swanston smacked a bases-clearing triple as part of a 3-for-4 day with three RBIs for Chateaugay (7-4). Phillicia LaBare earned the win, allowing just three hits.
Emily Watson and Tara Hennessy each contributed a hit for Colton-Pierrepont (4-7).

BELLEVILLE HENDERSON 3
Mackenzie Colwell finished 2-for-4 with a pair of triples as the Falcons topped the Panthers in a Frontier League crossover game at Belleville.
Nancy Newell and Megan Kraeger also contributed two hits each for South Lewis (12-8, 10-4).
GENERAL BROWN 13, BEAVER RIVER 4
Chelsea Cavellier went 3-for-4 with two triples and two RBIs to lead the Lions to a crossover win at Beaver Falls.
General Brown (10-9, 5-7) produced 15 hits, and received two hits and three RBIs from Lindsay Hanson. Karilynn Pfister and Doni Hall each drove in a run on two hits for the Lions.
Emily Campeau was 2-for-3 for the Beavers (6-10, 4-10).
