FORT DRUM — Billy Dean Carter Jr., 54, of 111 Woodland Drive, Stoneville, N.C., formerly of Fort Drum, died Thursday at his home. He was ill with cancer.

Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Colonial Funeral Home, Madison, N.C.
