OGDENSBURG — Christy Foster helped Canton pull away to a 17-8 Northern Athletic Conference girls lacrosse win with eight goals Wednesday against Ogdensburg Free Academy.
Katherine Sweeney supplied three goals and Shannon Flanagan added three more with an assist for the Golden Bears (11-2 overall, 10-0 league).
Molly Morrow paced the Blue Devils (6-6, 5-4) with four goals.
HEUVELTON 11, SARANAC LAKE 7
Emily Bush scored four goals and assisted on two others to lead the Bulldogs past the Red Storm in Saranac Lake.
Alexa Stowe and Natasha Ghize added two goals each for Heuvelton. Amanda Blackburn stopped 11 saves for the Bulldogs (6-7, 6-3).
Saranac Lake falls to 2-7 in the league.
WATERTOWN 14, INDIAN RIVER 2
Taylor Hughes scored five goals as the Cyclones routed the Warriors in a Frontier League game at Philadelphia.
For WHS (14-1, 7-1), Lindsay Gefell recorded three goals, while Rachel Schneeberger, Taylor Nims and Meghan Maitland each scored two goals. Starting goalie Rachel Fazio also had a goal for the Cyclones.
Teddi Filiatrault and Whitney Boshart scored for Indian River (2-11, 0-9).
CARTHAGE 21, GENERAL BROWN 5
Katie Ferris accounted for seven goals and two assists to help power the Comets to a league win at Carthage.
Katherine DeRonda supplied three goals and six assists, while Lanni Piroli pitched in with two goals and four assists. Joelle Percy scored four goals, Gabrielle Kamide registered one goal and five assists, and Kailah Kempney added two goals and two assists for the Comets.
Amber Neibacher and Ellyse Richardson each made four saves for Carthage (12-3, 9-0).
Samantha Roukous netted four goals to lead the Lions (6-8, 2-6).

Jon Eng led the Flyers to victories in the 1,600 and 3,200-meter races in a league meet in Norwood.
Graham Stone took first in the 800 and was a member of the 3,200 relay win for Norwood-Norfolk (3-0).
Brent Storie placed first in the 100-meter dash and Kevin Koerick won the shot put for Gouverneur (3-1).

Aaron Cote had a strong showing for the Yellow Jackets with three wins in a league meet in Tupper Lake.
Cote won the 400, 100 hurdles and triple jump for Madrid-Waddington (2-1). Tyler Jacquith added wins in the 110 hurdles and high jump for the Yellow Jackets.
MALONE 139, OFA 102
The Huskies took a league meet from the Blue Devils with help from Myles Schnack, who won two events in Ogdensburg.
Malone (2-0) swept the relay races, while Schnack won the 1,600 and 3,200 individual races.
Jake Fredricks won three events including the triple jump, 110 hurdles and the 400 for Ogdensburg Free Academy (2-1).
WHS SWEEPS HOME MEET
Senghor Kamguia (long jump, triple jump), Gerald Petty (shot put, discus), and Kevin Machia (400 hurdles, 110 hurdles) each won two individual events to help the host Cyclones complete an undefeated Frontier League season.
Watertown (7-0) beat Beaver River 108-33, and outlasted Indian River 94-47.
Indian River defeated Beaver River 74-67.
Curtis Dukes took first in the 100 and 200 for the Warriors (2-5).
Brian Cheney recorded the only individual victory for the Beavers (1-6) in the 3,200 meter run.
